Planting & Care Instructions

Instructions for Planting Your Cutting:

  1. Prepare the potting mix: Use a well-draining potting mix suitable for houseplants. You can also add some perlite or coarse sand to improve drainage.
  2. Plant the cutting: Make a small hole in the center of the potting mix and gently place the rooted cutting into it. Ensure that the roots are spread out and not cramped.
  3. Fill in with soil: Gently fill in the hole around the cutting with more potting mix, pressing lightly to secure the plant in place.
  4. Water the cutting: Give the newly planted cutting a thorough watering to settle the soil and provide moisture to the roots. Allow excess water to drain out from the bottom of the pot.
  5. Provide appropriate light and humidity: Place the pot in a location with indirect sunlight or according to the specific light requirements of the plant species.
  6. Monitor and care: Keep an eye on the plant for the first few weeks to ensure it’s adjusting well to its new environment. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and avoid overwatering. Provide regular care based on the specific needs of the plant species.

By following these steps, your rooted houseplant cutting should establish itself and continue to grow into a healthy plant!
